Installing the EUROTEL M2M driver

Installation:

Prior to creating a connection with eurotel, you must install a client certificate on the computer, where Ozeki Message Server is used. This certificate should be a Verisign Class 1 Public Primary CA.

Configuration:

In order to use the Eurotel connection, you must make sure, that the service is running using the Administrator user account. By default the OzekiMessageServer service is using the default SYSTEM user, as any other service in your system. Since the Eurotel driver is using HTTPS with the help of Google Chrome, each request must have access, to the digital signitures (certificates) installed by the Administrator. The SYSTEM account used by services, does not have access to these account. The following webpage gives detailed instructions on how to change the user account of the service:

Troubleshooting:

When you try to set up the connection to Eurotel, you might experience the following error messages:

ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_TIMEOUT This is not a real error message. It comes from the nature of this connection. Do not care about this error message! It happens, because Eurotel requires a polling technique to receive incoming messages. This means that the Google Chrome client must start a download and wait for something to return. If there is no incoming message, the download connection is not terminated by the server. Instead it is kept open until a message arrives or a timeout happens. When the timeout happens you receive this message. After this message is received, Ozeki will immediately open a new connection to make sure all messages arrive as fast as possible.
ERROR_INTERNET_CONNECTION_RESET This means that the network connection was terminated during a download. If you see this error message it means, that IE client of Ozeki was able to connect to the Eurotel server, but for some reason the HTTP transaction wasn't completed successfuly. For example the Java servlet on Eurotels server got an exception and the connection was terminated without a response.
ERROR_INTERNET_INVALID_CA The security certificate on the Eurotel server is invalid. Contact Eurotel to install a valid certificate on the server and try again.
ERROR_INTERNET_SEC_CERT_CN_INVALID The connection failed due to an incorrect SSL certificate common name. The name of the server that is running Microsoft Mobile Information Server does not match the common name on the certificate.
ERROR_INTERNET_SEC_CERT_DATE_INVALID The connection failed due to an incorrect SSL certificate timestamp. You must check the time and date settings on your PC.
ERROR_INTERNET_CANNOT_CONNECT The client could not open a connection to the Eurotel server. You may receive this error message if one of the following conditions is true: There is no connectivity with the server. A certificate is not installed on the server. The configuration settings on the device are not correct.
