Ozeki Research: Modbus
The Modbus project was setup to investigate how Ozeki SMS Gateway can be used to interact with industrial equipment using the ModBus protocol. Modbus is an application-layer messaging protocol, positioned at level 7 of the OSI model. It provides client/server communication between devices connected on different types of buses or networks.

Ozeki Research: M-Bus
The M-Bus project was created to extand the functionality of Ozeki SMS Gateway to support remote reading of utility meters, for example to measure the consumption of gas or water in the home remotely. The M-Bus technology fulfills the special requirements of remotely powered or battery-driven systems, including consumer utility meters.

Ozeki Research: Smart card technology
The Smart Card research project was created to evaluate how NFC and QR code technology can be combined and be used to offer great smart-card enabled services. Ozeki Smart Cards make it possible to setup an NFC enabled plasitc card or a QR code to act as a smart business card. With such an electronic business card several advantages can be achieved.
