Target audiance

This training is aimed at IT technicians, whose job is to setup, configure, maintain and trouble shoot Ozeki SMS Gateway systems. If you provide an SMS service, this training is for your IT staff who are responsible for making sure that your SMS servers are up and running 24/7. The trainging will teach the installation, configuration, managment of Ozeki SMS Gateway systems. It will also provide very valuable skills for trouble shooting, cost optimiziation, security and operation reliability.

Prerequisites

For the trainign, the trainee must have a laptop or desktop computer that can run Zoom or MS Teams. The computer must have a minimum full-hd display resolution (1920x1080). The computer must have a reliable Internet connection.

Time

Available days: Monday to Friday. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with 1 hour lunch break.
Throughout the day there will 8x45 minute training sessions with 15 minutes breaks in between.
The default time zone of the training is Centeral European Time zone (GMT + 1).
On request the start and end time can be adjusted to the customer's preference.

Location

The training takes place on-line. It is held by an Ozeki Engineer in Hungary. The customer can join from any location. During the training, software installation and configuration takes place on a dedicated computer. By default the computer is provided by Ozeki, but if the customer would like to use his own server, the Ozeki engineer can use a remote console app (such as AnyDesk, Teams, Teamviewer or other) to connect to it and do the training on the customer's machine.

Live system setup

On request, sessions can be dedicated to setting up and configuring the live production system of the customer.

Training outline

Prior to the training a consultatoin is held to understand the customer requirements, and a customized training outling is created based on this consultation. The price of this consultation is included in the cost of the training. The customer needs to approve the final outline before the training starts.

  2. Ozeki SMS Gateway Administration: Installation, Configuration, Backup/restore, Logs, General mantainence and operation
  3. Providing an SMS Service: How to setup the service for human users, How to serve apps through various APIs (database, http, files, etc), How to provide SMS service to 3rd parties through SMPP, HTTP and other channels, How to setup billing and accounting, How to set credit limits
  4. SMS routing: How to work with multiple SMS service providers, Load balancing, Backup routing, Least-cost routing
  5. SMPP advanced training: Understanding the SMPP protocol, How to trouble-shoot protocol problems, How to manage high volume traffic, Speed and performance optimization
